| The properties listed in this first section are those which may qualify for lake access according to the newly liberalized process instututed by ICE (Instituto Costariccense de Electridad), which maintains with few exceptions a 50-meter buffer zone around the lake. We can not be certain that any of this will qualify for the owner to put a path through the zone to the lake, wherein they may be able to install a floating dock and a small building. The owners of some of these have already made (free) application. We will be further researching the situation as a whole and for individual properties. . |
